Scott
Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American musician, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is a mixture of the name of a beloved uncle and the stage name of Kid Cudi (whose real names are Scott Mescudi and Scott Mescudi) and it is his first major-label contract with Epic Records. Scott also signed a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint-recording contracts with Epic and T.I. He has signed with Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self released in 2013. The mixtape was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It featured the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including the release of a joint album, Huncho Jack Huncho and was released under the name Huncho Jack. The band's third studio album Astroworld was also released to critical acclaim. The album was the source of the debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. After the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the top spot in less than a decade , in the year 2020.
